Let me start by saying, I understand that your photos are probably one of your most favorite treasures. That's why I try my best to give you lasting memories that you will cherish forever. These are a few tips to consider that will ensure you get the best photos possible!

I prefer outdoor sessions using natural light. Natural light is best in early morning or late afternoon. Therefore, I typically book sessions between 7am-8am or 3pm-7pm (depending on the time of year)

So what should you wear?? Good question! Some photographers will tell you to wear nothing but white. As you can see in the photo to the right, I disagree. I think bold colors can really make your photo pop! Don't get me wrong, you can't go wrong with a classic white or black solid. So, that is always a good choice too. I would just avoid patterns or busy clothing and maybe go light on flashy jewelry that may reflect in the shot. Keep it simple and you should be pleased!

I offer sessions at any location of your choice in the Memphis area. I have several that I could recommend but, I'm always up for a good suggestion! This could be anywhere from a park to a town square to even your house or your own backyard. Any place that offers an interesting background can be a "studio". So, keep your eyes peeled for that perfect spot!

I love doing photography! So, I'm up for pretty much any type of session you have in mind. Whether it's photographing your family or just your little ones or capturing that first grin on your newborn's face. Maternity sessions are an opportunity to capture a very special, possibly once in a lifetime moment. Then there's your wedding day. That is a day that will go by so fast and you will need great photos to remind you of how that amazing day passed by so quickly! I also enjoy photographing parties and special events. Maybe capturing that moment of your 1 year old smashing that cake all over their face or honoring your parents at their 50th wedding anniversary. Memories can be made anytime on any day. There's just some that you want to be sure to remember. That's why photos are so important!
